Contact Us / Upload Photo

Please read the following guidelines before you submit your photos to us.

We know that when you have a particular image in mind, it can sometimes be hard to explain exactly what you would like us to do to your photo. If there are any other images you would like us to use as a guide or inspiration when working on your pictures, please send it over to us with the rest of your pictures and label it as ‘Reference Picture’. You can also include any necessary explanations in your email to us, or if you prefer, you can leave your telephone or skype details so we can get in touch to discuss things with you.

When using our online uploading system below, please fill out all the details on the order form. Once you have attached your photos, they will be uploaded to us and sent over at the same time as the rest of your order details.

Please ensure all of your pictures are clearly labelled if you are sending over more than one, so there will be no confusion. We would also appreciate it if you could use the ‘special requirement’ box to explain the restoration you would like us to carry out on each photo, and also let us know if you have sent any relevant reference pictures.

As long as your digital photo files can be sent over the internet, we shouldn’t have any problem receiving them. We accept photos of less than 18M bytes in formats including PNG, JPG, GIF and TIFF. If professional clients are planning to send other file formats (such as RAW or DNG), or larger files, we recommend you contact us by email or skype for advice. You may need to set up a Media Fire account to send your pictures to us.

If you want to send us a non-digital print to restore, please use the following process:

Firstly, scan your photograph into the computer. Make sure it scans as its actual size and that you use either the RGB colour or colour photo setting of the scanner. The minimum resolution should be 300dpi. For restorations, we will need a 4mb low compression JPEG file scan or an image of at least 3000 pixels. If you reduce the size of the image, you will end up with a lower picture quality, so bear this in mind.

You might want to check your scanner manual if you are having any difficulties with the process. Alternatively, feel free to contact us on skype or email and we’ll be happy to help.

You can also use a professional scanning service to scan and upload your work if you do not have your own scanner. Many print shops will be able to do this for you.

We’re happy to revise your photos until you’re satisfied, so if you’re not thrilled with the results first time, please let us know and offer any additional instructions you’d like us to incorporate.
